Newcastle United are coming into this game on the back of couple of great games in the league and FA Cup as they went on to defeat Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup 3rd Round while before that they defeated Manchester United in the League by 3-0 at St James Park and put their title challenge to jeapordy. Newcastle United has had a great season so far, and with 20 matches already played in the season, they are in hunt for the top 6 finish and if they can maintain a good run of form the 4 spots is also within reach. But realisticly their aim would be to finish on Top 6 which would allow they to be part of the Europa League next year.
